3. Record jaw relationships and occlusion | 3.1 Implement aseptic techniques to prevent the spread of infection 3.2 Position the client comfortably for the procedure 3.3 Instruct client on participation during the procedure 3.4 Ensure stability and comfort of registration rims 3.5 Observe centric and eccentric mandibular movements 3.6 Determine and record functional measurements and dimensions 3.7 Consider referral if jaw relationship is unable to be determined 3.8 Check recordings by observation and repetition 3.9 Maintain integrity of the recording during extra-oral transfer 3.10 Ensure the client's well being prior to being dismissed |
